6 Miles and Abs Workout.

Alright!  This is what I am talking about.  I can barely keep my eyes open to type this right now.  Didn’t get a chance to leave for the gym until after 6:40 or so…walked back in the door just under an hour ago.  I am whipped!  Did 6 miles on the treadmill.  Spent a bit of extra time warming up gave me an average of 14:17 minute miles. 

Have changed up the abs session based on what I read in the Abs Diet book.  He says the best way to do abs is to slow down and spend time on the reverse resistance.  So I have taken this to heart.  As I mentioned yesterday, I was sore in my ‘core’ area…based on tonight I am going to stuff some Motrin in my lunch bag tomorrow. 

Thanks to all who lent there support after yesterdays post.  I appreciate all of it and know that this is a permanent change.  I will freely admit that I am guilty of wanting instant gratification and want things to happen overnight.  I get to continue this ‘fight’ and the changes I have made are permanent!

awesome average for your mile. I am still at an 18 minute mile so way to go. I mostly power walk so if you are running that mile I am very impressed. One day we will get back to the energy we had as kids, the energy our own children have. It will come, hang in there and keep up the good work.
